How to fix a suspended Google Business Profile

Has your Google Business Profile (formerly known as Google My Business profile) been suspended? Whilst this can be frustrating, there are some simple steps that you can follow to get your Google business profile activated again.

The first thing that will happen is that Google will notify you that the profile has been suspended due to “suspicious” activity or activity that is not in line with their guidelines. To submit the form, you will need to check that your business is in line with the Guidelines for representing your business on Google. If it is, then you can submit a reinstatement form and your profile should be active again shortly. A Google representative will review the profile to determine if it is legitimate. If they find that it is legitimate, they will approve it for you and you can carry on using your profile as per normal.

Especially when your business profile is new, Google wants to make sure that it is legitimate. Fake or suspicious business profiles will give Google less integrity because people may lose faith in the platform.
